Here’s how to sign up. It’s super easy and only takes about two minutes.
From the home page, you want to select the “For Care Providers” tab at the top of the page.
Next, choose “Providers Sign Up Here” on the menu. Then, “Click Here To Join For Free” button.
Then, you will answer the profile questions on the next page.
These profile questions allow parents to find your profile within our system.
Make sure to include a profile photo to help convey professionalism and attention to detail.
Enter your Name, Address, Email, etc., and click “Sign Up”.
That’s it, easy peasy! You are now ready to start connecting with families immediately!
And, here is a pro tip nannies:
Keep an eye on your email. This is because, whenever you receive a new message from a family via Nanny Parent Connection, you will receive an email notifying you that you have a new message.
Once you are signed up, make sure to spend some time browsing around our website to check out all the tools and resources that are available to you.
These tools and resources include our Member Search Tool, where you can filter parents seeking childcare by location, pay rates, desired experience level, and much more. You will also see Suggested Matches at the top of the page. This is a new tool where an algorithm that we have built “matches” you with parents that are looking for a nanny or sitter that matches your profile.
Maybe you want to pick up a “date night” shift or additional childcare hours when you are available. Make sure to check out our “Care Calendar” where you can post your availability and fill your schedule whenever you like.
Our “Last Minute Care System” is an excellent way to pick up additional shifts as well. When parents in our community have an urgent child care need, they fill out a quick form which is instantly sent via text message to all of the nannies and sitters who are registered for the service.
Nannies, you do need to sign up specifically to receive these messages if you would like to receive these text message care opportunities.
Our Library has a ton of information about working with your nanny family, contracts, taxes, mileage reimbursement, and even rest and meal breaks to name a few things.
So, make sure to spend some time checking out the information available in the library. We always encourage new nannies especially, to spend some time browsing around this info, as it’s like a one-stop-shop of everything you might need to know when working as a nanny.
