The Family:

This busy family of three is looking for a fantastic nanny to partner with!  The parents are transitioning their toddler out of a daycare setting because they want more individualized care for her.

Their two-year-old is sweet and curious.  She enjoys books, music, playing, and spending time outside.  She hopes her new nanny friend will plan fun, engaging activities and outings for her!

Both parents work from home in office spaces away from the main living areas.  There are two dogs and a cat in the home for any nannies with allergy considerations.  The nanny must be comfortable around pets, though no pet care is needed.

The Job Description:

The nanny will be responsible for ensuring a safe, nurturing and loving environment for their child.

Typical job duties will include:

  • General childcare: snacks, meals, diapers, potty help, naps
  • Planning age-appropriate developmental activities and play both indoors and outdoors
  • Planning and providing safe transportation to activities or outings
  • Child’s laundry, and help with family laundry (primarily folding clothes)
  • Helping to keep the child’s room and play spaces organized and tidy
  • Help loading/unloading the dishwasher as needed
  • Tidying of spaces used throughout the day (dishes used, etc)

Nanny Attributes/Qualifications/Requirements:

Their ideal nanny has a minimum of 2 years of relevant nanny experience, and is warm, nurturing, and engaging.  Infant care experience may be helpful as well as the family is considering having another child in the future.  The ability to speak a foreign language would be a bonus, but is not required.  Mom speaks some Mandarin and would love for her child to have exposure to another language if possible.

The nanny must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and their own safe and reliable vehicle for use on the job.  They need to be up to date with all vaccinations, including Covid + booster, annual influenza, and TDap.  They should also have a current CPR/First Aid Certification (or be willing to update asap).

This friendly, professional family is seeking a responsible and baby-loving nanny to partner with! They hope the nanny will feel like an extension of the family. Their four month old is sweet and smiley. His personality develops more each day, and he is curious about the world around him.  He can’t wait to have a nanny buddy who will read to him, play, go on walks with him, and smile and laugh with him. He’s in a great eat/play/sleep routine that’s been working well for him.

The family has two loving and friendly cats in the home for any nannies with allergy considerations. They do have pet care in place for the summer, however if the nanny would like to cat and house sit for them over the summer, they would be open to discussing that.
