Hi everyone. Laura from Nanny Parent Connection here.
As the days grow shorter, I’m beginning to think about indoor activities for my kids. Today, I am going to teach you how to use ChatGPT to create amazing, customized stories about your kids (or nanny kids).
My kids LOVED the story that I had ChatGPT write about them and your kids will to! There is no limit to the stories that ChatGPT can develop.
Does your child like the Berenstain Bears and superheroes? Build a story where the Berenstain Bears are superheroes with their own specific powers and your child joins them!
Don’t miss this amazing, free “pro tip” that just takes a few moments to set up. Enjoy!

Hi everyone, Laura from Nanny Parent Connection here.
Today, I’m going to teach you how to use ChatGPT to create stories for kids.
First, I want to give 100% of the credit for this idea to my good friend Mary.
She is a fellow mom, our kids go to school together, and she has a computer science background.
Imagine my surprise when she was like, “Oh yeah, I’ve been using ChatGPT to create these great kids’ stories – my children love them.”
I was curious to learn more!
She shared a little more about how to create these stories, and I wanted to make sure that everybody out there but especially nannies and parents have this information also.
Here is how you can get on the ChatGPT bandwagon and use that technology to create fun stories for children.
First, you’ll want to go to the ChatGPT website. Click here to visit.
If you don’t already have an account, you can easily set up an account within minutes. There is no cost.
With zero background using this technology myself, I was easily able to enter in a prompt, which then created this fantastic children’s story.
Here was my initial prompt: “Create a happy, fun, adventurous children’s story with characters Lucca, age eight; Caliana, age six; and Lincoln, age six, involving rescuing a baby dragon from an evil wizard.”
Now, much to my delight, a fantastic children’s story was generated, including my three children and this lovely, sweet, happy little adventure about how they rescued this baby dragon from an evil wizard.
But I realized I made a mistake; I said “children” and not “siblings.”
I went back to the message box and made another prompt: “Make Lucca, Caliana, and Lincoln siblings.”
The story then regenerated to reflect the fact that they were siblings.
My kids are at school, but when I come home, I’m going to share this story with them, and I cannot wait because I know they’re all going to be delighted, and they’re all going to actually want to use this technology themselves to create new stories.
I know they’re going to have a lot of fun with this.
One thing that my friend Mary shared with me is that she’s actually been continuing the same stories for her kids with elements from previous stories.
To test, I entered in another prompt in order to continue to build upon this story. “Continue this story; create a new story where the baby dragon comes back to visit them but needs help finding its mother.”
Using this new prompt, I was able to build upon the previous story where they went on the adventure and rescued the baby dragon.
Now, the baby dragon is going to come back and visit them, and they are going to go on a new adventure to help the baby dragon find its mother.
Like I said, I know my children are going to be thrilled with this story.
They’re going to love that the story included them, and I’m pretty sure they’re going to love using this technology to create new stories of their own.
Alright, everyone, that is how you can use ChatGPT to create stories for your children, whether you are a mom, dad or a nanny.
I hope you take this information and have fun with it and create some fantastic stories that you can all enjoy together.
Thanks, everyone. Bye!
