Today, we’re going to take you on a tour of some of the best spray parks and water parks in the Seattle area.

We’ll be highlighting the unique features of each park, sharing their addresses, and giving you all the information you need to plan your next outing.

When the temperatures rise, one of the best ways to cool off is by visiting one of the many fantastic spray parks and water parks we have around the city. 

Whether you’re looking for a place for your nanny kids to splash around or just somewhere to relax and enjoy the water yourself, Seattle has plenty of options to offer. 

Today, we’re going to take you on a tour of some of the best spray parks and water parks in the Seattle area. 

We’ll be highlighting the unique features of each park, sharing their addresses, and giving you all the information you need to plan your next outing. 

So grab your sunscreen, water bottle, and let’s dive in! 

First up, let’s head to North Acres Spray Park, located at 12718 1st Avenue Northeast. 

This park offers plenty of water fun for kids of all ages with its self-operating spray feed. It’s a perfect spot to beat the heat.

Next, let’s head to Beacon Mountain at Jefferson Park. 

You can find this eco-friendly play space at 381 Beacon Avenue South. It features cool hillside slides and a spray pad perfect for the little ones, plus spectacular views of the Puget Sound and Olympic Mountains.

Yesler Terrace Park, located at 835 Yesler Way, offers a fun spray park with eye-catching play structures and a slidable turf hill. It’s a great place to cool off while enjoying city views.

At 750 South Homer Street, you will find the Georgetown Playfield, which boasts airplane-themed play structures and a refreshing spray pad for post-play cool downs. A must-visit for young aviation enthusiasts.

Highland Park Playground, at 1100 Southwest Cloverdale Street, has a Jeep-themed spring rider, cool climbers, and a spray pad with a thrilling bucket dump for super soaking fun. Plus, it offers shade and views of Mount Rainier.

Ballard Commons Park, located at 5712 22nd Avenue Northwest, features a skate bowl, water feature, and relaxing seating areas. It’s a perfect blend of fun and relaxation.

Judkins Park, at 2150 South Norman Street, is a great community spot with picnic areas, a skate spot, and a wonderful spray park ideal for family gatherings and cool summer fun.

The Miller Community Center, at 330 19th Avenue East, connects the street with the center through a prominent staircase leading to a fountain play area and a multi-use playfield.

John C. Little Park, located at 6961 37th Avenue South, features picnic shelters, an expanded play area, and a community garden, making it a lovely spot for cooling off and enjoying a family day out.

Another is Lake Union Park Fountains, situated at 860 Terry Avenue North. This park features mesmerizing fountains that dance to music, offering a serene waterfront view perfect for relaxation and picnics.

Next up, we have the Seattle Center International Fountain, located at 305 Harrison Street. Known for its iconic water shows, this fountain provides a dynamic backdrop with synchronized water movements and colorful light displays, making it a must-see attraction. Be mindful of the sloping walls though!

And finally, we have Pratt Playground Spray Park, at 201 12th Avenue South. This park offers ample areas for barbecuing, playing basketball, and running through the grass, along with its fun spray features.

While not in Seattle, an honorable mention goes to the Hazel Miller Spray Park in Edmonds, just a short drive north of Seattle. 

Located at 63rd Avenue South, the Hazel Miller Spray Park offers a delightful array of spray features and water elements, perfect for kids to cool off and have fun. With its vibrant and safe play environment, it’s a fantastic destination for families looking for a quick escape from the city heat.

And there you have it! 

Those are some of the best spray parks and water parks in the Seattle area where you can cool off and have fun with your family. 

Be sure to visit these parks and enjoy the summer to the fullest. 

Pro tip: On days when the thermometer is approaching 90°, you will find fewer people at the spray parks in the mornings and around dinner time.
